19th Century Advertising trade Card (Lactated Food)

On offer is an outstanding advertising Fold Out Trade Card

The card is advertising "LACTATED FOOD" this is a very colourful, very detailed fold out trade card, the images do not do justice to this fine piece of advertising. The front of the card reads:

There is a stamped address to the right hand edge, which reads:

When you open the card, it falls into 4 highly detailed, and highly colourful lithographs, just look at the additional images, they are quite stunning. If you turn the card over , you have a very detailed analysis of Wells, Richardsons Lactated Food, and one and a half pages of Testimonials.

Trade cards do not come ay better than this fine example. Although the 2nd page has suffered from loss of the red background and slight loss of the baby image, in its whole it is a very rare piece of advertising, which is in almost pristine condition. The price reflects the damage. A superb go with especially if you are a collector of Baby feeders and related items.
