19th century Boxwood Double Powder Measure.

On offer is a superb 19th century boxwood double powder measure.

These are often refered to as Seidlitz powder measures. the large bowl would measure the alkaline mixture, whilst the smaller bowl would measure the acid mixture. They were also used to measure the powders to charge Gazogenes.

DEFECTS: None The delicate little measure is in superb condition, having no physical defects whatsoever, it has great patination.
