Mid 19th Century Labelled Medicine Bottle
On Offer is a superb mid 19th century hinge mould blown medicine bottle.
This 8 sided medicine bottle is in superb condition, having its original label still intact. The neck is thin and elongated with a double collar applied lip, the colour is a light olive green, the glass is in excellent condition for its age, there is no sickness present.
The label is in excellent condition too, although it does suffer from some discolouration and minor stains.
The label reads:
BALSAMIC
COUGH
MIXTURE
as originally prepared by W.D. Bell
DOSE
Adults, one table-spoonful three or four times a day, or when the Cough is troublesome; children, above five years old, a teaspoonful.
