Superb 19th Century European Amber Chemist Flask
On offer is a "Pristine Condition" 19th Century Amber Chemist Flask.
FRUCT.CARVI PULV: Powdered Caraway Fruit.
Caraway fruit is the dried ripe fruit of Carum Carvi, a biennial plant indigenous to, and cultivated in Europe, chiefly in Holland.
The drug has an agreeable aromatic odour, due to the volatile oil it contains.
The aromatic properties of caraway fruit, due to its volatile oil, are utilised for combination with purgatives, as in Tinctura Sennae Composita and Pilula Aloes.
There are a total of 11 bottles in this set!

16.3 cms to the top of the stopper.

"PRISTINE"
There are no faults whatsoever! The glass sparkles!, please look at the additional images for a detailed view.
The bottle has 10 faceted ridges to the top of the shoulder, and the stopper has 8 faceted panels which are highly polished.
The enamelled label is in "Pristine Condition" having no defects whatsoever.
They look stunning as a group.
